Daylight saving..

Here comes the weekend..
seems like everything goes not as worse as I expected ^^

Daylight saving(DST) begins tomorrow morning
Clocks will go forward an hour at 2am to become 3am tomorrow
and this DST will run until April 4,2010..

I have no idea for this DST at all ><
thus I surf the net and find some info about it..

The reason DST works:
It saves energy due to less artificial light needed during the evening hours
-->clocks are set one hour ahead during the spring, and one hour back to standard time in the autumn.

From the news:
New Zealanders were being urged to be safe in the sun as the days lengthened and ultraviolet radiation levels started to rise.
*It is important as the ultraviolet radiation is at the PEAK in the periods between September and April, especially between 11am and 4pm.

Why UV in high level?
-->It was contributed to the hole in the ozone layer.

As reported:
The Antarctic ozone hole is approaching its maximum size at this time of year. Though it doesn't affect us now, when the ozone hole breaks up we're affected by ozone depleted air travelling over New Zealand – meaning we have to be especially careful in the sun.

Sound scary as the UV radiation level rises..
especially nz which is the south-est country in the world

Try this *wink*:
